## The story

One state contract. Every court, borough and tribe may use it.

This is all the notice says the work is.

"provide all transcription services for general, medical, and legal records to convert speech; either live or recorded, into written or electronic text document."

Eight kinds of public body, one contract.

Three Alaska windows close this month.

3,967 acres at Eielson. Four sites, one total.

The Air Force calls it mixed-use development and names six possible uses. Compute is not one of the six, and the announcement doesn't rule it out either.

Five terms searched. None in the notice.

The DMV asked the same way.

"products, services, technical approaches, and industry best practices related to automated compliance and data integration systems" The word doing the work is automated.

One state document prints it plainly.

"Leverage technology, such as artificial intelligence ("AI"), to support digitization, automation, and public access to permitting information."

The order that names it posts to the same system as the notices that don't.

Administrative Order 360 sends its agency plans to the Alaska Online Public Notice System. So do the two solicitations.

Read the notice before 24 August.

RFP 2026-0200-0064 is public. So is the DMV request. If your borough, court, school district or tribe is in scope, the only way to know what you are inside of is to read it.
